Event Services Compliance & Legal Disclaimer

At Shubhkarta, we act only as an online platform that connects customers with independent event service providers such as DJ/sound systems, decorative lighting, generators, and band/dhol services. Shubhkarta does not own, operate, supervise, or control any third-party vendors or equipment listed on the platform.

All services are provided directly by independent vendors. Customers and vendors are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, permissions, and government regulations in India.

These services are governed under various Indian laws:

• Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000
• Environment (Protection) Act, 1986
• Electricity Act, 2003
• Supreme Court of India rulings on noise control
• State Police & Municipal Corporation rules
• Local Pollution Control Boards

• Noise limits must follow CPCB decibel standards
• Night restriction generally 10 PM to 6 AM
• Police permission required for public events/processions
• No disturbance in silence zones (hospitals, schools, courts)
• Proper electrical safety and volume control required

Band parties, dhol-tasha groups, and live music processions are also subject to noise and public order regulations.

• Police permission required for street processions or baraat routes
• Time restrictions (generally 10 PM cutoff for loud performance)
• Volume must not disturb residential or silence zones
• Route restrictions may be applied by local police
• Use of loud instruments (dhol, trumpets, drums) may be controlled in sensitive areas
• No obstruction to traffic or emergency movement allowed

• Proper electrical safety and licensed wiring required
• No obstruction to roads, traffic, or pedestrians
• Municipal and electricity authority approval may be required
• Fire safety compliance mandatory
• No illegal electricity tapping

• CPCB noise & emission compliance required
• Acoustic enclosure mandatory
• Proper installation by qualified technician
• Police permission for public events if applicable
• Safe fuel handling and load management

Shubhkarta:

• Does not provide any permissions or licenses
• Does not verify compliance by vendors or customers
• Does not supervise installation or operation of services
• Does not control sound levels, electrical safety, or execution
• Does not assume liability for accidents, fines, police action, or legal issues

In case of: Police intervention, Municipal or electricity authority action, Equipment seizure, Event shutdown, Noise complaints, Legal penalties or FIR — responsibility will remain with customer and/or vendor only.

• All bookings are at their own risk
